WHO IS HE
Dylan Englebert is a Belgian field hockey player who plays as an attacker for Léopold HC and the Belgian national team U21. He started his professional career with Léopold where he represented all the youth teams as well.
Dylan is known for always keeping his speed and his strong backhand. He’s very mature for his age and that’s why he’s the captain of the U21 Young Red Lions at the Junior World Cup in India. He’s also one of the new players in the squad of the Red Lions looking to conquer his place in the team for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Besides his hockey career, he studies commercial engineering at the University of Brussels.
AMBITIONS
My medium term goals are to join the Red Lions and to make my place in this very competitive group. At club level my goal is to be Belgian champion and to win a medal in the EHL.
In the long term my goals are to participate in the Olympic Games of Los Angeles 2028 and to become an important player of the Red Lions.
