CECIFOOT CHARLEROI 06 & 07 MAI 2022
Cécifoot (or Five-a-side, Paralympic name) is an adaptation of 5-a-side football for the visually impaired and blind. This discipline was born in Brazil in the 1950s. Balls are plastic bottles containing pebbles to obtain a noise audible by the visually impaired. Then, under the impetus of King Pelé, sound balls were manufactured, especially in prisons, and sent all over the world to make the practice of blind football accessible to all. It was in 2013 that Cécifoot Charleroi asbl was created thanks to Jean-Michel and Michel Bertinchamps.

RUGBY À 7 FÉMININ
We are delighted to announce the collaboration with the Stevins Twin Sisters. All 2 players in the national rugby 7 team : Heloise and Margaux. If Belgian rugby, and men, develops to XV, it grows rather to VII on the women's side. In any case, the twins Stevins, Héloïse and Margaux, do what they can to carry it high. And these two charming rugby women break the image of rugby !
Heloise: "I am delighted to be able to collaborate with an agency like this. "The Agency" makes it possible to improve the follow-up of high-level athletes from different disciplines. The people who make up "the Agency" are people passionate about sport and performance development by helping athletes to be in the best conditions. A collaboration like this is a step forward to improve my quality of life. Thanks to the Agency, I will feel supported and helped to achieve my goals in more optimal conditions. They take care of a good number of athletes from different disciplines and this sharing between the athletes and each other's experiences is great and take back the team spirit that is so important to me. To have people who surround me my life in this way will allow me to have a life facilitated, more optimal and focused on performance."
Margaux : "I am super happy to be able to benefit from accompaniment and support from people who are professional and who also have experience in sport. This allows us to be able to meet some of our needs and especially to have people ready and available to help us do it. The objective of this collaboration is really to optimize our needs and allow us to focus as much as possible on the sporting aspect, less on the extras. Being a high-level amateur athlete is not always easy to manage with work, and collaboration should simplify some of the difficulties that we may encounter in our daily lives. Super happy to join the Agency and meet the team soon."

KEVIN MIRALLAS TO MOREIRENSE
Ex-Red Devil Kevin Mirallas can put on his football boots again. Mirallas moves to Portugal after his Turkish adventure at Gaziantep. At Moreirense (15th in the Primeira Liga), he may help his former trainer in Turkey, Ricardo Sa Pinto (ex-Standard), to fight against relegation.
Kevin Mirallas has signed a contract until the end of the season at Moreirense. The Portuguese club announced this today. The 34-year-old former Red Devil was without a club since his contract with Turkish side Gaziantep was not renewed last season.
Previously, Mirallas, a youth product of Standard, scored his goals for Lille (2004-2008), Saint-Etienne (2008-2010), Olympiakos (2010-2012 and 2018), Everton (2012-2017), Fiorentina (2018-2019) and Antwerp (2019-2020).
Moreirense is fighting against relegation in the Primeira Liga. After 19 match days, the club of coach Ricardo Sa Pinto (ex-Standard) is 15th in the standings with 16 points. Last season Sa Pinto was also Mirallas' trainer at Gaziantep.
THE AGENCY ON THE ROAD

Jeremy Wilbers is currently in India with the Young Red Lions competing at the Junior World Cup. After their opening game & first win, Jeremy took the time to have a chat with us.
INTERVIEW POLLEN MAGAZINE
Last week Maximilien Peeters (CEO) and Thomas Van den Balck (COO) had an interview with Pollen Magazine about starting up The Agency and about their vision towards the future.
Maximilien explained how The Agency works through their three departments of marketing & sponsorship, legal & risk and financial & investments: "The combination of our skills allows us to provide our talents with sound advice that will help them to progress as individuals, but also allow their families to prosper, both in the short and long term. Understand that this is a complementary service to that offered by agents.”
Thomas Van den Balck, whose mission is to manage the agency on a daily basis, is very confident about this new professional challenge. "We have already finalized partnerships with nearly 25 athletes from soccer, golf, field hockey, sailing and boxing. Kevin Mirallas, Vincent Vanash, Gauthier Boccard and Ryad Mehry, to name but a few, have joined The Agency.”
And if the portfolio of athletes is already very diversified, Maximilien and Thomas insist on their will, in the short term, to sign partnerships with extra-sporting personalities such as DJs, artists, actors, singers, and, why not, great chefs. “The idea is to quickly build a solid reputation thanks to "a substantial and qualitative group of talents".
